Life #5

lifestyle blog 5-tile

What a busy few weeks! I bet you are all sick of me saying that… I know I am. I have made a decision today that I may take a break from Monday’s Meals, Wednesday’s Workout and Fitness Friday posts and rather post material when I have it. When I first started the posts they were a was of helping me stay active on my blog however now I find it more restricting as feel I have to post stuff on those days and if I miss it I have to wait until the next week to post it. Don’t worry I will still be posting health and fitness blog posts, but they could now be on a Tuesday or Thursday… you will have to check in more often to see when I am posting!

Anyways onto my “Life #5” post.

Fitness Friday | How I prepare my meals

preparing meals for the week1
This week my diet has not been good.. at all! And I know exactly why… because I did not prepare my meals for the week. Instead I have skipped breakfast a couple of days, ate too many sandwiches for my lunches and made poor decisions for my dinner; as I result I feel pretty rubbish this week. It’s amazing that filling yourself with rubbish food actually makes you feel rubbish!
I have written a post previously about the importance of preparing your meals to aid in weight-loss and health gain, so I won’t lecture you as I already have. However this post’s purpose is to share with you how I prepare my meals. It’s kind of a step by step guide to show you how easy it is to find healthy recipes and use them in your everyday diet.

Fitness Friday | It takes 21 days to create a habit

21 days to create a habit 1

Yesterday was a big day for me; yes it was Halloween, but it was also the first time I ate chocolate in 30 days! I took a mini challenge at the beginning on October to give up chocolate for the month, my only day to eat chocolate in October was Halloween. So last night I bought my stash of chocolate with the intention of having a big night of chocolate indulgence. I eagerly opened the bar of Dairy Milk and took my first bite, and found not a feeling of overwhelming chocolate bliss, but a tasty yet underwhelming feeling.
